Pricing Overview
Coralogix charges for the data you send, not for users or hosts. Its pricing page lists Logs at $0.42 per GB, Traces at $0.16 per GB and Metrics at $0.06 per GB (1 GB = 750 active time series), with all features and support included. Coralogix AI is billed on top at $1.50 per 1M tokens.
Usage is counted in units. One unit is $1.50 worth of logs, metrics and traces across data pipelines, and the rate for logs depends on the pipeline you send them to. The pricing FAQ gives two examples: logs cost $1.15/GB in the Frequent Search pipeline and $0.50/GB in the Monitoring pipeline. So the $0.42 headline is not the rate to plan with for logs you search every day.
The pricing page lists no free tier. New accounts get a 14-day free trial with a quota of 8 units and no credit card needed. That quota is 8 x $1.50 = $12 worth of data.

The pipeline choice is the biggest lever on the bill. Frequent Search costs more than twice the Monitoring rate, so routing every log line there means paying $1.15/GB for data you may only need for alerts. Metrics are the cheapest signal per GB, but at 750 series per GB, high-cardinality metrics add up fast. The model suits teams that want no per-user fees; it suits less well a team that cannot predict how much of its log volume needs fast search.
Hidden Costs and Considerations
- Pipeline routing. Your logs rate is set by where you route each stream, not by the $0.42 headline.
- Units, not gigabytes. Usage is counted in units of $1.50. Convert units back to GB per pipeline to see what you spend.
- AI usage. Coralogix AI costs $1.50 per 1M tokens on top of data.
- Terms the page does not list. The pricing page does not list annual discounts, retention periods or contract minimums. Ask sales before committing to a large volume.

Solo developer or side project.
- Logs: 50 GB in Monitoring x $0.50 = $25.
- Traces: 10 GB x $0.16 = $1.60.
- Total cost: $25 + $1.60 = $26.60 per month.
Small team of 5 engineers.
- Logs: 300 GB in Monitoring x $0.50 = $150.
- Searchable logs: 100 GB in Frequent Search x $1.15 = $115.
- Traces: 100 GB x $0.16 = $16.
- Total cost: $150 + $115 + $16 = $281 per month.
Mid-size team of 20 engineers.
- Logs: 1,500 GB in Monitoring x $0.50 = $750.
- Searchable logs: 500 GB in Frequent Search x $1.15 = $575.
- Traces: 500 GB x $0.16 = $80.
- Total cost: $750 + $575 + $80 = $1,405 per month.
In the mid-size case, moving 100 GB from Frequent Search to Monitoring turns 100 x $1.15 = $115 into 100 x $0.50 = $50 a month.

Datadog and Elastic show lower ingest rates, but Datadog adds a charge per million indexed logs and Elastic adds retention per GB. New Relic gives the largest free allowance, then charges per full platform user. Coralogix is the simplest to forecast: one rate per GB, no user or host fees. Compare its Frequent Search rate, not the headline, with the others' ingest-plus-indexing cost.
