Pricing snapshot
Dynatrace Platform Subscription uses one annual platform-level commitment. Generally available capabilities draw down at published rate-card pricing, with lower unit prices at higher commitments. Consumption beyond the minimum commitment can continue on-demand at the same rate card and is billed monthly without penalty-style overages. Dynatrace provides real-time consumption visibility, forecasting, and usage-change alerts, plus a 15-day free trial.
Choose by monitoring scope
Foundation & Discovery covers basic host health, host and process topology, filesystem and OS-service monitoring, and contextual log collection.
Infrastructure Monitoring adds process, disk, memory, network analysis, and custom metrics.
Full-Stack Monitoring adds APM, root-cause analysis for end-to-end transactions, code-level profiling, OpenTelemetry metrics and traces, and included Kubernetes Platform Monitoring on Full-Stack hosts. Trace retention includes 10 days and can extend to 10 years.

Metrics ingest is $0.15 per 100,000 datapoints. Traces and events each charge $0.20 per GiB for ingest and processing, $0.0007 per GiB-day for retention, and $0.0035 per GiB scanned for queries. Runtime Vulnerability Analytics and Runtime Application Protection are each $0.00225 per memory-GiB-hour, shown as $13/mo per 8 GiB host; Security Posture Management is $0.007 per host-hour, shown as $5/mo per host.
Runtime Vulnerability Analytics detects first- and third-party vulnerabilities at runtime, prioritizes by risk and impact, and can ingest external security findings.
Runtime Application Protection covers first-party code vulnerabilities and blocks exploitation attempts against relevant OWASP security risks.
Security Posture Management identifies misconfigurations and security issues affecting runtime compliance.
